How to add favicon to an Adobe Muse page

Favicons are small square images usually 16×16,32×32 or 64×64 pixels which are used by web browsers to show a graphical representation of the site being visited at the left side of the browser’s title bar, it also displays next to a page’s name when it is bookmarked, or in a tab that contains a loaded site page.

Favicon examples

To add a favicon in Adobe Muse site you first need to create a square image(preferably 32×32). Supported image types for favicon in views are .GIF, .JPG, .PNG.
To add a favicon to end up in your site try following steps.

  • Go to File >> Site Properties.
  • Go to Content tab.
  • Click on to the folder icon next to favicon image.
  • Select the supported square image to be used as favicon. Click OK.
  • This image will be used as favicon of all the pages of your muse site.

Note: You can add different favicon to each page of a muse site. You can do this from Page properties of each page in plan view. Right click on the page in plan view and select Page Properties.
